Casa del Mar has been a mainstay of Cozumel for decades, the resort was built thinking on the diver's needs. The property is situated a few miles south of downtown San Miguel, so you will need a taxi if you plan to regularly venture out in the city. It is also located slightly north of the Puerta Maya cruise ship terminal, but you can still find the shopping mall, pharmacies, and stores near from the resort.

Casa del Mar started renovating and upgrading their property in January 2025 and they completed it all in 2026. 

Room service is available. Free parking is available for anyone looking to rent a car. Breakfast is served in a casual restaurant and there’s a bar by an outdoor pool. Other amenities include a hot tub, a beach with thatched-roof gazebos, tennis courts, plus a game room to play billar, soccer table, and chess.
